His Excellency Major General Obaid Muhair Bin Suroor, Chairman of the Taqdeer Award presented 4 Star rated “Taqdeer Award 2020” to Mr. Sajeev P.K., Managing Director of M/s. Aroma International Building Contracting LLC at Dubai World Trade Centre-Sheikh Rashid Hall on Monday, 17th May, 2021
Aroma bagged this prestigious award for the 3rd consecutive year for labour
welfare and honouring excellence.
The ceremony was held at The Meydan Hotel - Meydan Gallery, Dubai on 17/12/2018 and the award was presented by H. H. Sheikh Mansour Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, The President of Dubai International Marine Club.
Taqdeer award for the year 2017 was for adopting the best Labour policies and implementing best labour labour welfare measures. H. H. Sheikh Mansour Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum presented the award to Aroma on 19/12/2017 at a gala ceremony held at Dubai World Trade Centre.
The list of our achievements and accolades is long and varied but we consider that it is most honourable to be recognized by the Dubai Government with the Taqdeer Award, the world's first points-based award programme under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Taqdeer Award is aimed at setting international benchmarks in labour welfare and honoring excellence. Aroma International Building Contracting L.L.C. had the privilege to be among the contractors awarded as the 'Best Contractor' in the 4-star category. An eminent scientist himself, the former Indian President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam had endeared himself to the youngsters of India for his dedication to further strengthen India's educational system during his tenure as a President. He is best remembered for teaching young people the importance of pursuing dreams through hard work.
He also encouraged them "to have courage to think differently, courage to invent, to travel the unexplored path, courage to discover the impossible and to conquer the problems and succeed". This was his message to the young people.
An appreciation Award was honoured to Aroma International Building Contracting Co. by Dubai Corporation Ambulance Services at a ceremony held on 20/12/2018 for completing the project (G+3 Staff Accomodation on Plot no.: 8110236 at Warsan III, Dubai) well before the completion date set out by the Corporation.
A `Service Excellence Award` was presented to Aroma International Building Contracting LLC at the launch of `The Customer Happiness Equation’ by Dubai Municipality, on Tuesday, the 29th January, 2019 at a grand ceremony held at the Intercontinental – Festival City, Dubai, for executing various Building projects professionally & on time for Dubai Municipality.
The Award was presented by Engr. Dawood Albdulrahman AlHajiri, Director General of Dubai Municipality.
The Government of Dubai has launched the Taqdeer Award to celebrate excellence in labour relations.This unique initiative – the world’s first points-based award programme for promoting employee welfare – will grade the companies depending on their employment practices.
Participating companies have to show their use of global benchmarks including labour policies, facilities and infrastructure, health and safety, labour security,recruitment and wages, justice and transparency, communication and feedback,creativity and innovation, administration, labour perceptions and key performance indicators, to get recognised under the award programmeFollowing a rigorous evaluation of their applications by an independent judging committee, the businesses will be awarded a rating between one and five stars.
